MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the BLAST OF BRASS conference is to expose young musicians to the highest standards of brass performance.  Our goals are achieved by allowing students to perform and study with several of the finest performers and educators in the world of brass, in a summer music camp setting.

In the Fall of 2010, the Music Department of Texas A&M-Commerce occupied a new $29 million dollar building. The building features state-of-the-art performance, rehearsal and instruction facilities, including a Concert Hall seating 600, a Recital Hall seating 75, five rehearsal halls, classrooms, piano and electronic music labs, studios and practice rooms.
